A transfigured marionette that betrays the rules of traditional figure painting revels in its defiance of form in a rock garden bedecked with graffiti. Summoning Dadaist absurdity via Hannah Höch together with the erotic surrealism of Hans Bellmer, the work aims to surprise by an unpredictable collage of anatomical overlays that frees the figure from the bounds of the terrestrial order.
