Gathering in front of a subway car, a family snaps a photograph to commemorate what was or maybe never had been. The family’s nonchalance seems out of place in the dystopian, end-of-the-world landscape, but they make themselves at home anyway. The flat walls of prefab houses situated nearby make them feel at home among the graffitied rocks and brown washed landscape while fluffy clouds drift serenely in the background.
